Hi I'm Tracie Mallari. I started painting 14 years ago as a creative outlet suggested by my mother, who has sketched and painted most of her life. I've been actively painting and learning ever since. At the onset of my career, painting in oil was where I found familiarity but as I've grown as an artist I find imagination and creative spirit in everything from oil and acrylic to watercolor and mixed media. Painting for kids has been a passion from the very beginning. Whimsicality is a theme that is present in most of my work but a blank canvas gives me limitless possibilities and that is a feeling I will never tire of.
